Columbus Connection is a name to trust when you need medical transportation services. Our outstanding staff and fleet of fully-equipped vehicles can:

We are here when you need us whenever a medical transport with trained personnel is needed.  Columbus Connection, a partnership between Mount Carmel Health System and Cincinnati-based Patient Transport Services, provides central Ohio with the following:

MICU Mobile Intensive Care Unit (RN and Paramedic)

The Mobile ICU can facilitate critical care treatments for patients requiring:

-          Advanced airway management including ventilators

-          IV, with additives

-          Invasive Monitoring

-          ACLS protocols

-          Thrombolytics

-          Vasoactive drugs

-          Pacemakers

-          Blood administration

-          Chest tubes

-          Intra-aortic balloon pump

ALS Advance Life Support (Paramedic)

-          Advanced airway management

-          Oxygen therapy

-          IV, with additives

-          Cardiac Monitoring

-          ACLS protocols

BLS Basic Life Support (EMT)

-          Basic airway management

-           Oxygen therapy

-           IV, without additives

Today, Columbus Connection has a location in the Columbus Metro area with 90 employees and a fleet of 20 ambulances, including a 24 hour MICU.  We provide ALS, BLS, and MICU ground transportation primarily in Franklin and contiguous counties.  Among our satisfied customers are Mount Carmel hospitals and facilities, Medigold and Mount Carmel Hospice.  We are also very proud to be the EMS support for Football at Capital University and Worthington Kilbourne.
